Donald Davis is a freelance artist based in Tallahassee, Florida. He specializes in paintings, drawings, and wood art. Donald refers to his art as "kitchen art": it is in his tiny kitchen that he began to paint and create his work in a variety of media. Donald chooses to work with acrylics, oils, and wood, using these in tandem with other media such as wire, and stone, to create abstract pieces of visual and textural depth. It is common to not only view his art, but also touch these creations. It is evident that the feeling of connectedness is what draws the viewer to these unique pieces.

More About The Artist	Donald remembers the passion for art his 7th grade art teacher, Mr. McPherson, had, which triggered his own passion. However at nineteen when he entered the military, Donald abandoned his passion for drawing. But after 20 years of questioning his destiny, Donald rediscovered his creative talent in 2004. He realized that his creativity was a gift from God when he was called to a new medium, painting on canvas. Donald believes he has reconnected with his passion in life. As he continues his artistic and spritual journey, he wishes only to touch others with visual images that reflect the light of God.
